Remember how much we all loved the Starbuck's frappuccino? That is, until we found out it wasn't just a coffee drink, but full of more sugar and calories than one needs for an entire meal? YES! We all remember those frappuccino days and our beautiful naivety, but we had to take the blinders off at some point . . . and start ordering them for what they were - dessert!
For this reason, we created the Mocha Frappuccino Breakfast Shake. It's a beautiful combination of healthy ingredients and that coffee dessert flavor we love so dearly.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Ground coffee beans
Optional: protein powder
Mocha Frappuccino Breakfast Shake
BANANA, DATES, COCONUT MILK, COCONUT WATER, WALNUTS, COFFEE, COCOA, & PROTEIN
total Time: 5 minutes
- 1 frozen banana
- 4 dates, pitted and chopped
- 1 C coconut water
- 1 C coconut milk
- 4 Tablespoons walnut pieces
- 1 teaspoon ground coffee beans
- 2 T cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 C ice
- Optional: 1-2 scoops protein powder of choice
- Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy.
